June is from Okinawa, Japan and has been working in early childhood education since 1986. She has been a lead teacher at Trilok School since 2012.

June received a BS in science and education from Touro College and is currently pursuing a masters at CUNY in education.

June is passionate about helping children become independent and helping them learn and grow by exploring nature and the community around them.  

“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever” is a quote from Mahatma Gandhi and June tries to imbibe it in her life.
